Police Station & Benefit Fraud

The first involvement you may have with the criminal justice system is at the police station. This can be a frightening and stressful experience and we pride ourselves on providing all clients with a first rate service available at any time for all types of offences. What you do or do not say at the police station can dictate what will happen to you and can affect whether a prosecution is brought. It is important that you do have a solicitor to protect your interests and advise and assist you. All accused persons have the right to seek advice from an independent solicitor totally free of charge. If you need to contact us urgently please contact the office nearest to you. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We offer representation in relation to all aspect of benefit fraud including the initial interview under caution (subject to financial eligibility, this can be free of charge) through to representation in the Magistrates Court or Crown Court. If you are under investigation or you are being prosecuted or simply think that you may be soon please contact Ian Clift at our Basildon office or Bethany Brown at our Southend office.
